Second Day: Experts in the making!

Today was our second day of beekeeping camp. Although the rain was pouring down for most of the morning we still managed to get outside to view the hives  to look at pollen, nectar and larvae. One observation is that many of the campers were less afriad to interact with the bees today and were actually eager to get into the hive.

As the rain poured down earlier that day we began by journaling from the previous day's events as well as viewing and discussing a video entitled "Swarm Plus: An Incredible look at the Amazing Honeybee".

Next we began to pain designs onto the bee supers. Afterwards we continued with our candle making experiment and finally to the hive we went!
